This series is a rather personal one. It is my interpretation of the Phoenix. A mythical fire-bird-like creature with feathers of gold and scarlet who, at the end of one cycle, builds itself a nest, lays an egg and ignites, only to hatch itself again from that egg and arise from its own ashes to begin another cycle. Much like reincarnation, except it's a lifetime within a lifetime.

This sums up how I feel right now. 2009 was not a great year for me. Bring on 2010... I have never looked so much forward to change in my life EVER! :)
